Cairo embodies the soul of a city consumed with an overwhelming amount of energy, of people running around and remaining static, of blinding lights and dark corners, and of deafening sounds and utter silence that only truly settles for a few moments in the twilight hours of the morning.
Jude Benhalim is a Cairo based jewelry label we’ve been following for a while now. Last December we attended the launch of their Urban Rebel collection at CoLab in Zamalek, an event orchestrated by Flare PR, and one that truly marked a turning point in the brand’s image and market presence.
Urban Vibrance is a summer capsule collection that elevates on the concepts presented in Urban Rebel, embracing the chaos of the city with all its colors, shapes and forms.
Reinventing some of the more popular pieces from Urban Rebel, by using brighter and more striking colors in electric shades of resin to create pieces that stand out against any canvas.
In launching “The Glare Project” next week on Radical, a collaboration on color, and a discussion of the impact and philosophy of color in our lives, we found it appropriate to showcase a brand that utilized the power of bold hues to create pieces that embody the vibrancy of city life.
