Welcome back to our “Week in Curation” for July 2024.

We’re heading into my most sacred time of year, also coined by Lana Del Ray as “Hot Summer Nights, Mid July …”! I’m not the most season obsessed person to be honest, albeit controversially, I am a winter girlie through and through. BUT something about the red hot sunsets, smooth winds, waves crashing, incredible music playing at all the restaurants, bards and coffee shops, not to mention that mid July good mood, makes it absolutely one of the most magical times of the year,

This week’s curation offers a mix of local, regional and global favorites with a splash of summer flare, keeping it short and swwet. Enjoy x

Curation 1: MATHCA AT SPECIALTY BŪN [Local]

Guys this is the best Matcha in Egypt hands down. It’s the only truly ceremonial grade i’ve found, with a natural sweetness that works with both normal and coconut milk (my milk of choice|). You’re welcome!

Curation 2: SORELLE [Local]

Sorelle has made the perfect summer day to night set, with a breezy linen that allows you to go from the office and hop into the car, suitcase n tow, and hit the road to Sahel or Egypt’s infamous north Coast #iykyk.

Curation 3: ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 9 [Global]

I was never a ASICS girl, even with all the TikTok Instagram obsession, you guys know we don’t follow trend at RC, we’re either first movers or we adopt when we find something we truly love. This show is IT. It’s comfortable, cool, gorgeous color combinations and look exceptionally unique and contemporary. If you’re into standing out this is the sneaker to cop.

Curation 4: A BETTER FEELING [Regional]

I’ve been raving about this brand of shades and other contemporary objects for the past 5 years. Sunglasses in my option are the elite athletes of accessories, they have the power to take absolutely basic look to a 10/10 showstopper moment. These shades never fail to draw attention, they’re sleek, strong and most importantly radically different than anything else ont he market.

Curation 5: SUNBUM SUNCREEN SPRAY[Global]

I converted to spray sunscreens for the body when I realized that spreading a thick cream over tyour entire body is a task I neither have the time or patience for. Spray is a life-changer, and this Sunbum is once of the smoothest, fastest drying and best smelling sprays I’ve found. I summer must-have and year round staple for sunny climates.

Curation 5: BALA BANGLES [Global]

As a Pilates girlie I thought it was time to give you some workout hacks to help you get excited to move! One of my top tips is to find equipment that you LOVE. For me, these Bala Bangles tick every box, they’re the perfect weight at 1-2lb, gorgeous colors and are super easy to pack - not to mention they double as an acessory for both arms and legs. They’ll have you looking forward to throwing them on and doing a quick 20minute power pilates class.

Curation 6: BACCARAT ROUGE [Local]

I don’t care what anyone says, and I do not care how many TikTok influencers claim that this fragrance is “overdone”, Baccarat Rouge is the ultimate IT girl fragrance. We do not add just anything to this curation, and this is a perfume that will have men at your feet. Radical Contemporary approved. If you want to be a little more unique, and absolutely disdain smelling like someone else, then I would go for Grand Soir instead. Same impact.
