The Bohemian Spotlight feat. AFH
Act I.
Backstage, fifteen minutes before showtime. A million industrial light bulbs set the room ablaze. There were photographers, stylists, designers, makeup artists and actors scattered around the set. Preparing for the show. It was terrifying and exhilarating; months of work coming together. A theatrical spectacle was about to take place. A play, to be performed live on stage and filmed for millions of people to watch and scrutinize.
Act II.
A bohemian girl dressed in velvet silver, covered in precious stones and gold-plated rocks, took the stage. Her arms and neck adorned with jeweled spears. Hiding behind her mirrored shades.
The story was set in a mystical town, a magical place, where witchcraft took place and carvings on ancient wooden doors told stories of generations past. Where mystery and madness went hand in hand, and brave protagonists protected the secrets of their ancestors.
She was not accustomed to the spotlight. She did not welcome it. This was only Act II; the very beginning. The script was memorized, the crowd was silent. It was time for curtain call.
Act III.
The show must go on. The curtains, blood red corduroy, draped across the stage as the final act came to a close. The crowd was stunned, clapping vigorously for what felt like an eternity. It was a success. A brilliant and echoing victory. The show was over, and it was time to disappear.
